Route TNG → Tangier / Tanger Med / Chefchaouen
Leaving Ibn Battouta airport (Boukhalef commune, south-west of Tangier), you take the expressway north to reach Tangier centre in about 25 minutes. For Tanger Med and its ferry terminals to Algeciras and Tarifa, the trip takes about 45 minutes via the A4 motorway heading east — note that the port is east of Tangier, opposite the airport.
To Tétouan and the Mediterranean coast (M'diq, Cabo Negro), the A4 is the main axis, allow 1 hour. For Chefchaouen, the N2 national road winds through the Rif massif for about 2 hours from TNG: a spectacular trip, comfortable in a minivan. The route to Cap Spartel and the Hercules Caves hugs the Atlantic coast, 30 minutes from the airport.
